First a disclaimer. I know Lior (or Larry) through professional circles and, to tell you the truth, bought this boxset because I know him - I like buying books that people I know have written. As a result it took me a couple of months to start reading the books. However, once I did start reading them, I was hooked
* My wife kept telling me to turn the light off so she could sleep
* I missed a stop on the train
* My lunch hours extended to be longer than an hour
* My cat wasn't fed for a week (well, that's not true, but the rest are!)
Needless to say, the books are great - intricate plots, interesting backdrops, good characters, and good action. All over excellent thrillers. For me, the thing that makes them great is that Lior assumes in his books that his readers have a brain - something lacking by many writers these days )

I enjoyed all four books and wanted to read more about the characters.
This review is for the entire series, which really should be read in order if one is to receive its full impact. The characters are richly drawn, the good and bad guys are not defined by clean lines but operate in gray areas, the story is both a page turner and a deeply thought out meditation on the human condition. The novels demonize no one and no group, but they will be most appreciated by readers who have a love of, or at least a respect for, Israel, the Jewish people, and its intelligence services, especially Mossad. They will also resonate more with people who are fairly computer literate, as there is much technical detail about computer technology in the novels. And If you are an MIT grad or at least know Boston and Cambridge (I studied at a university a subway stop and light rail run from MIT), that will add to your pleasure. But make no mistake. These novels are not just computer black ops thrillers. They are truly literature in the best sense. My eyes teared up more than once reading them.
One other comment about them these may be the best edited e-books I have ever read. I saw no errors of any kind in grammar, missing words, bad punctuation. That is almost unique in my experience.
Oh, and a final comment about me. I am not Jewish. I am a very old white guy whose American heritage is Southern, and whose ancestry is primarily German. But I count many Jews among my best friends, and will be recommending these novels to them and to my non-Jewish friends as well. Mazel Tov Mr. Samson (which I know is your pen name). I am so very grateful that it was my bashert to stumble across your marvelous novels.

All 4 books where a bit slow at the start but once you got into them they got better and had a good finish.
